The Dog Days of Summer
August 15, 2026
As fall beckons, I still want to carry a little of summer’s ease with me. The open windows, fresh flowers, long evenings over dinner with friends, and that feeling of needing a little less to feel completely at home.
That same sense of ease is something I think about often when I’m designing a home. Especially when life is changing, design is about more than choosing beautiful things. It’s about understanding what feels meaningful now—what brings comfort, reflects who you are, and deserves a place in the life you’re living today.
I believe the homes that are most compelling are thoughtfully curated and layered with things that have meaning. They feel collected rather than filled, personal rather than perfect, and designed to support the way you actually live.
Ultimately, the goal isn’t simply a beautiful space. It’s coming through the door and feeling completely at home in the life you’re living.
Assemble the life you want.
